I am honored that artist Ray Simon of Youngstown, Ohio, has accepted the challenge of creating a painting to capture the heart, soul and spirit of the 1980 Kardiac Kids. This special 18x24-inch work of art will commemorate the most exciting season in Cleveland Browns history and will hang proudly in your home or office.

Simon's paintings are well known to Browns fans everywhere. One of his best-known paintings, "The Final Play," is a lasting tribute to the original Browns franchise. "The First Play" celebrates the rebirth of the Browns in 1999. "Cleveland's Tradition Will Never Be Denied" honors Browns Hall of Famers such as Otto Graham, Jim Brown and Dante Lavelli.

Ohio State football fans recognize Simon's "A Buckeye Tradition," and two paintings honoring the late, great head coach, Woody Hayes: "Pay Forward" and "Desire."

Signed and numbered commemorative lithographic prints, along with unsigned and unnumbered prints, are available when you purchase The 1980 Kardiac Kids ~ Our Untold Stories. Choose from three purchase options:

Premier Limited Edition: Books and Commemorative Prints are sequentially numbered 1-500. Prints are individually signed by artist Ray Simon and Sam Rutigliano and printed on archival fine-art paper ($175 value). Prints shipped beginning January 2010.

Deluxe Limited Edition: Books and Commemorative Prints are sequentially numbered 501-1980. Prints are individually signed by artist Ray Simon and printed on archival fine-art paper ($125 value). Prints shipped beginning January 2010.
